Indian-born Daniel Samuel, better known by his pen name Karoor Soman, lives in London with his family.

- His English book “Malabar AFlame” has been released by Stephen Timms MP, UK in London. This book was also a study for a research paper published in Journal of Emerging Technologies and Innovative Research(2019).
- He has received literary awards including from late Prime minister of India, Shri. Narasimha Rao.
- He has written sixty-five works in the fields of drama, musicals, novels, children’s novels, English novels, English stories, short stories, historical stories, poetry, song, essay, travelogue, biography, autobiography, science, technology, sports and tourism during the last forty years.
- In 2012, he reported the London Olympics for a leading Indian newspaper,Madhyamam.
- All his books, published since 1990, have their title beginning with the Malayalam letter “Ka”.
- He is also the chief editor of LIMA World Library Publications online, Karoor Publications, K.P E-Paper Publications via Amazon.
