Waiting for a bus or a train,
boat, ship or a plane,
to take a small trip,
or a long distant journey,
may be irritating, boring and tiresome.
Waiting for a phone call,
a letter or an e-mail,
gives a few moments,
of logical or illogical assumptions,
filled with hopes and anxieties.
Waiting for the arrival,
of dear and loved ones or guests,
gives a few uncertain moments,
intermingled with pleasure and gaieties,
enabling one meticulous and enthusiastic.
Waiting for the result,
of a performance, contest,
an examination, competition
an interview or discussion,
leaves one with a few moments of tension and trauma.
Waiting for child birth,
gives a rare precious time,
filled with pain, fear and mirth,
with unusual tantrum,
leaving one, sometimes, cretinous
Waiting for a fast approaching,
. festival, ceremony,
carnival, celebration,
seminar or any function,
makes every one active and joyful.
