Citadel of knowledge, a true man
Alexander Raju sir has many fans
In the land of wisdom, he’d stride,
Guiding and teaching us with pride.
Once a scribe in far distant Sikkim
Captivating Stories picked him
Man of justice fought for the right,
Finding truths unveiling the light.
In the halls of college, we did count
Inspiration to us when he was around
English, his craft, he painted its grace,
Moulding our ways, giving us space.
Waving a bye to college, a beginning
To many lands, life kept on rolling .
In Ethiopia and Libya, shared his soul
To loving hearts, spirits he would scroll
Now back to his alluring home so dear,
Cocooned in love with wife ever near.
A telling poet, a writer of soaring prose,
His words on pages, petals that rose.
On canvas, painted colors of his soul,
Strokes of brilliance, art took its toll.
Heartwarming poems brought delight,
Eternalizing moments, simply bright
To our teacher this ode we do send,
What a man!, our guide and friend.
Life’s journey, a beautiful tale of grace,
Cherished, in our hearts, a solo space
