VACCINATIONS AGAINST DISEASES…..
MEMORIZING BIBLE VERSES AGAINST SINNING.
According to Cambridge Dictionary , a vaccine is a substance that is put into the body of a person or animal to protect them from a disease by causing them to produce antibodies.
The most common vaccines are against Hepatitis B, Diphtheria, Tetanus, MMR( Measels, Mumps, Rubella) BCG( against Tuberculosis)…Do you know any child who is not vaccinated? Today, all the parents are very serious about giving all the important vaccines to their children. It is compulsory in many countries.
Before the introduction of measels vaccine in 1963 and widespread vaccination, an estimated 2.6 million people were dying due to measels every year….During 2000 to 2021, measels vaccination prevented an estimated 56 million deaths; mostly in the WHO African region and Gavi-supported countries.
Is there medicine against sinning? Do you know any individual/ family/ church/ community who got freedom from committing sin?
I HAVE HIDDEN YOUR WORD IN MY HEART THAT I MIGHT NOT SIN AGAINST YOU.(Psalm 119:11)

The way not to sin is to treasure the word of God in our hearts.
How can a young man clense his way? By obeying your word.( Psa.119:9) Personal holiness by living according to the commands and precepts found in scripture.
Bible is offering a medicine against sinning. Hiding/ memorizing God’s word in our heart helps us to overcome temptations and to get victory over sin. This helps us to meditate, understand, and apply God’s word in our life.
Not giving vaccines to our children is allowing them to get some of those diseases, which could even lead to their death.
If we are not reading, studying, understanding, and applying God’s word in our life, then we would have no resistance capacity against sinning. Sins in our lives can take us away from God, leading to spiritual death. Are we serious about our spiritual life and the spiritual life of our children and dear ones?
Athletes competing in the Olympics avoid looking at the cheering crowd to the photographers or videographers. If they look at anything other than their destination, they get distracted and won’t win the crown. Let us fix our eyes on JESUS and on Him alone.
How many Bible verses can we memorize? How about our dear ones? How much money and time are we spending for the secular studies of our children? How much facts or information are they memorizing every year? How many Bible verses can our children memorize? Are they applying God’s Word in all areas of their life? Do we care for their spiritual life?
Water and fire can’t co-exist… The Bible can keep us away from sin or sin can keep us away from the Bible.
Let us take serious efforts to memorize Bible verses. Let us write down verses with reference in paper, carry it around, and memorize it. Please encourage our children and others also to do it. Please take time to tell newly memorized Bible verses during family prayer or any other time. Parents do it and encourage even small children. Give time to recite newly memorized Bible verses in Sunday School, youth meetings, ladies meetings, mens gatherings, in any fellowship, and in our worship services if time permits.
As we keep doing it, we get more spiritual nourishment, more spiritual strength and victory over sin. This will help us to avoid all unwanted distractions.That will help us to lead a victorious Christian life . If all individual Christians , all Christian families and churches, take it seriously, a big transformation can happen in the lives of individuals.
LET US MEMORIZE GOD’S WORD REGULARLY AND APPLY THAT IN OUR LIFE.
