I live a thousand lives
within one quiet span,
where time and space
dissolve into a dream.
Past, present, future
cocooned in eternity,
I emerge, winged and
dwell in myriad realms.
I inhabit the earth,
I orbit the ethereal,
re-defining my stars,
I swing as a pendulum.
I cross paths, pause
in conversations,
leave bookmarks
in passing minds.
Pebbles,corridors,
chalk dust whispers,
I listen to half-forgotten,
lullabies, endless tales.
I have occupied spaces;
like umbra and penumbra,
shadows cast by eclipse,
I existed in light and dark.
