Poem by Snigdha Ganesh
####################
Covering me in her soft embrace,
The moonlight weaves through me.
The silky shawl, silver in color,
Covers me like a blanket
And so I begin my tale.
Every night, the moon listens to my story.
The sounds of the leaves rustling, winds whispering, insects chirping, the silence is my story…
In the dark night,
The moonlight leads the way
To a home, a shelter from the howling winds.
It is a treacherous path through the woods
which I willingly take
To reach my home,
My home, my shelter from the howling winds
Such is my story.
And the moon listens to my story.
Only the moon listens to my story.
