When the yellowing leaves wither
I shall remember my dearest
Once so green and full of life
As pretty brown hair turned to snow white she left me like a small whisper
When daffodils are blooming
I shall remember her soft smile
Her smile that tug at the strings of heart
She might be shape shifted into a star
Why my heart aches while I look into the sky
When I look at the waves that come and go
I shall remember her pearls of wisdom
that cleansed my heart and soul
As each day dawns, I am counting my days
To be with her transforming into a star
Her soul departed like dandelions flying
Embers of love still burning in my heart
Words fall short for her tranquility
Just want to embrace her once
Once I wished upon a shooting star
and knew that it would come true….
