Every day I tear a page-from my book of life,
Some days scribbling a few lines; on each page,
Other days, I leave it unnoticed-
This makes my life incomplete and uneventful.

I do not know what I am looking for;
Still holding my face upwards-
Aspiring to capture the sun’s brightness
And to dissolve that divine aura of light,
In the colourful frills of my jacket;
To enhance my beauty and loveliness.

This may arouse envy on other blossoms around,
To spread the same degree of divinity and dignity around
And to spread the priceless fragrance around,
In the course of events, strange it may seem;
My hopes vanish and my dreams whither
Lay down the petals to eternal rest.
