Born in Vettikotte village in Mavelikkara taluk. Parents KS George and Achamma. Growing up and learning Karimulakkal in Chunakkara village. Thamarakulam VV High School, and MSM College, Kayamkulam. I studied Lab Technician, Beautician, Typewriting and Shorthand courses.
During my school and college days, I used to pick up books from the Nooranad Leprosy Sanitary Library in Alappuzha district and read them to the children. V.V. Prominent expatriate who was my classmate when I was in high school.
I was elected as the youngest panchayat member from Chunakkara panchayat. The main reason for that. The roads I went to school were full of bumps and potholes. During the monsoon season, many parts of the country are in a state of disrepair. The emphasis in my manifesto was that this road would be repaired. The joy of completing it is still there today.
Writer Karoor Soman has acted in the annual competition of some plays. I was elected to play with Karoor Somans drama competition.
After marriage I worked in Qatar with my husband. From there we moved to Botswana and started a business. Writes in English in “Kingdom Embassy Magazine” in Botswana. Readers call this the ” The bulldozer” reading. Many parts of it are taken and pasted on trees and hung. People like that too. Written again by the world-famous Lima World Library.Iam the member of its editorial board. I writes poetry and articles in a few periodicals. Published a book in English. The Botswana travelogue written by Karoor Soman and I is coming out soon .

ലീല തോമസ്. ബോട്സ്വാന
മാവേലിക്കര താലൂക്കിൽ വെട്ടിക്കോട്ട് ഗ്രാമത്തിൽ ജനനം. മാതാപിതാക്കൾ കെ.എസ്.ജോർജ്, അച്ചാമ്മ. വളർന്നതും പഠിച്ചതും ചുനക്കര വില്ലേജിലെ കരിമുളക്കൽ. താമരക്കുളം വി.വി.ഹൈസ്കൂൾ, വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം എം.എസ്.എം കോളേജ് കായംകുളം. നാട്ടിൽവെച്ചു് ലാബ് ടെക്‌നിഷ്യൻ, ബൂട്ടീഷ്യൻ, ടൈപ്പ്, ഷോർട് ഹാൻഡ് തുടങ്ങിയ കോഴ്‌സുകൾ പഠിച്ചു.
സ്കൂൾ, കോളേജ് പഠനകാല൦ ആലപ്പുഴ ജില്ലയിലെ നൂറനാട് ലെപ്രെസി സാനിറ്റോറിയ൦ ലൈബ്രറിയിൽ നിന്ന് കുട്ടുകാർ വഴി പുസ്തകങ്ങളെടുത്തു വായിക്കുമായിരിന്നു. ആദ്യമായി താളിയോലഗ്രന്ധങ്ങൾ കണ്ടത് അവിടെയാണ്. വി.വി. ഹൈസ്കൂളിൽ പഠിക്കുന്ന കാലം എന്റെ സഹപാഠിയായിരുന്ന പ്രമുഖ പ്രവാസി സാഹിത്യകാരൻ കാരൂർ സോമെന്റ് നാടകങ്ങളിൽ വാർഷിക മത്സരത്തിന് അഭിനയിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.
ചുനക്കര പഞ്ചായത്തിൽ നിന്ന് പ്രായം കുറഞ്ഞ പഞ്ചായത്തു് മെമ്പറായി തെരെഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെട്ടു. അതിന്റ പ്രധാന കാരണം. ഞാൻ സ്കൂളിൽ പോയിരുന്ന വഴികൾ കുണ്ടും കുഴിയും നിറഞ്ഞതായിരിന്നു. മഴക്കാലമായാൽ പല ഭാഗങ്ങളും ഗതാഗത യോഗ്യമല്ലാതെ നാട്ടുകാർ ദുരിതത്തിലാകുന്നത് കണ്ടിട്ടുണ്ട്. എന്റെ പ്രകടന പത്രികയിൽ പ്രാധാന്യം കൊടുത്തത് ഈ റോഡ് നന്നാക്കുമെന്നായിരുന്നു. അത് പൂർത്തീകരിച്ചതിന്റ സന്തോഷ -ചാരിതാർഥ്യം ഇന്നുമുണ്ട്.
വിവാഹ ശേഷം ഭർത്താവിനൊപ്പം ഖത്തറിൽ ജോലി ചെയ്തു. അവിടെ നിന്ന് ഞങ്ങൾ ബോട്സ്വാനയിലെത്തി ബിസിനസ് ആരംഭിച്ചു. ബോട്സ്വാനയിലെ “സ്പിരിറ്റ് എംബസി മാഗസീനിൽ” ഇംഗ്ലീഷിൽ എഴുതുന്നു. വായനക്കാർ ഇന്നതിനെ വിളിക്കുന്നത് “ബുൾഡോസർ” വായനയെന്നാണ്. ഇതിന്റ പല ഭാഗങ്ങളുമെടുത്തു് മരങ്ങളിൽ ഒട്ടിച്ചുവെക്കും കെട്ടിത്തൂക്കിയിടും. അതും ജനങ്ങൾ ഏറെ ഇഷ്ടപ്പെടുന്നു. ലോകപ്രശസ്ത ലിമ വേൾഡ് ലൈബ്രറി വഴി വീണ്ടും എഴുത്തിൽ സജ്ജീവമായി. അതിലെ പത്രാധിപ സമിതി അംഗമാണ്. ചുരുക്കം ആനുകാലികങ്ങളിൽ കവിത, ലേഖനങ്ങൾ എഴുതാറുണ്ട്. ഇംഗ്ലീഷിൽ ഒരു പുസ്തകം പ്രസിദ്ധികരിച്ചു. ഞാനും കാരൂർ സോമനും കുടിയെഴുതുന്ന ബോട്സ്വാനിയൻ യാത്ര വിവരണം ആമസോൺ വഴി അടുത്തുതന്നെ പുറത്തു വരുന്നുണ്ട്.
