We humans, our ‘distant cousins’ and all…. -Sreenivas R Chirayath

‌If what the renowned scientists have proved that humans got evolved from monkeys is true, then naturally we shouldn’t have been consuming animals’ flesh etc since our supposed to be ‘distant cousins’ are vegetarian, to-date!

Many people especially of several western nations have realised from medical research that the percentage of diseases like cancer etc are much more among non-vegetarians compared to vegetarians.

By and large, the consumption of animal flesh could lead to dangerous cholesterol level in the body!

It has been proved that consumption of even animal milk, has lot of side effects like the above said bad cholesterol – heart diseases are rampant in the world, as a whole!

The cow’s milk is suitable only for its calf, as per scientists.

Hence this theory is applicable with each and every mammal.

Realising this fact, Hon Union Minister for women and child development, Ms Maneka Gandhi had once appealed to the people for discouragement of cows’ milk consumption, though it has been a practice since time immemorial – ofcourse, in this regard, we have a ‘mythological’ record of more than 5000 years, dating back to Lord Shri Krishna’s childhood etc!
Let’s now resort to the core of the subject:

As once i tried to justify my argument with some of my non-vegetarian friends, by inviting their attention towards the fact, that it’s a sin to kill animals, birds etc, what they said is that it’s equally a sin to cut trees and plants!

Further i took on them, inviting their attention towards the fact, explaining that there are two kinds of living beings ie Taxis and Non Taxis as described by scientists, in biology.

Taxis, as many of us know, means mobile living beings (self movable/shiftable) like Humans, Animals etc and Non Taxis living beings such as trees, plants etc.

A taxis living being has a limited growth and life, whereas a non taxis living being like trees and plants, have an unlimited growth. The taxis ones would writhe  in pain and bleed to death if cut!

But the nontaxis lives like trees and plants do not feel pain since they don’t have the spines or brains unlike the taxis, and they don’t die; instead they get more of branches, if a branch or even the stem itself is cut – unless uprooted.

Several friends nodded their heads in approval of the biological explanation given.

Also it’s a known fact that there are vegetarian as well as non-vegetarian animals: for example, Monkeys, Elephants, Cows, Bulls, Buffalos etc. There creation is designed to consume only vegetables, like that of humans who are proved to have been evolved from a species of predominantly vegetarian monkeys.

As our biological constitution is originally designed to suit only vegetables, we would remain much healthier if resorted back to the bygone system of vegetarianism!

Let’s dig and duck down to see our ancient roots, atleast for the sake of regaining the richness of health.
