On the same couch again,
This time,
Biting a slice of creamy jackfruit,
Tasting the subtle sugary flesh,
And the fragrance of lost heartthrob…

The tongue,
full of sugary juice,
Throat,
a bit shrank to swallow,
Ha, the molars,
chewing and chewing,
The flesh,
yet too like chewing gum.

It’s dark spread, out
Fake light,
lit all around.
With raindrops,
on the petals
My roses,
seem heavy…
The carpet of green too.

Light falls on the drops,
Gets scattered incessantly.
Me,
like an ant,
on the bemoaned grass,
Or on the lamented barks,
Or on the leaf of the rued roses,
Sees What?

Without you!
All the light that poured on
Flies away,
A light vapour?
Ah! Don’t know.

This sugary jackfruit slice,
Still not able to get through,
The tormented gullet,
You know!
