*Slow death*
I’m happy in her arms,
Her arms clad abreast, warm
While I live in a world illegally
Claimed by the tiniest creatures.
I’m happy in her arms,
Her arms clad abreast, warm
While stepping out of the gate
Is, today, the biggest adventure.
I’m happy in her arms,
Her arms clad abreast, warmer
While I hold captive the little fresh air
Lavishly in each breath.
I’m happy in her arms,
Her arms clad abreast, even warmer
While I’m stabbed gently with
Indifference and ignorance.
I’m happy in her arms,
Her arms clad abreast, warmer than ever
While my mental labyrinth
Is the wittiest joke of all.
I’m happy in her arms,
Her arms clad abreast; Ooh she’s hot
While she gently seduces me
To her bed.
She sang her lullaby.
I was cold as ice.
