Life is a journey. God who directed his steps to geographically blessed country, Botswana. His caring of every visitors feel them a homely atmosphere. All sing a song -DUMELANG- the Setswana greeting the meaning ‘ Hello’ with
happy mind.

Lovely son of Malayalees
Ramachandran Ottapathu is our pride.

I think that he is anchored in
right geographical location in Botswana. Geographical location influences us season or weather elements,
also influences us spiritual blessings.

Mr: Ramchandhran ottapathu was with his parents for over years. God blessed him
to stay in his God-ordained location for his prosperity in BOTSWANA.

Ramachandran Ottapathu is the CEO of choppies group, a multinational grocery store with over 300 shops in the southern Africa region. He is very successful by having passion dedication and commitment to his job.
Choppies know very well the interests of the local communities. Choppies allows local farmers to sell their products twice or thrice to them weekly. We buy about 75% of vegetables produced in this country. Sometimes, we pay money in advance to support them. We also support the women community by providing exclusive rights to make some products. These include a particular snack of dry meat called ‘Biltong.’ it is made of beef or game meat and also the parotta-like eatable called Diphaphata,” he said.

Even for consumers, local diversity is taken into consideration while stocking products. “For example, there is a difference in the type of maize people use. People in the north prefer coarse maize while those in the south need a finely powdered one. We stock according to their requirements. We have Halal stores in Muslim majority areas,” he said.

“Have a purpose and dream in your life and pursue that dream relentless says Ramachandran Ottapathu.
